Dr. Massey is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record as a chief executive, foundation officer, and thought leader. He is a distinguished expert in competitive strategy, collective impact, and shared value, having provided strategic counsel to CEOs, governments, universities, foundations, and international corporations across diverse sectors.

A published author, keynote speaker, and Emmy Award-nominated television documentary producer, Dr. Massey currently serves as the founding Chairman and CEO of Global Action Platform (Nashville), a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering scalable, sustainable solutions in food, health, and prosperity. He is also the Chairman and Managing Partner of Indigi Pte Ltd, an international investment company focused on emerging markets, (Singapore) and a founding member of the Council of the World Agriculture Forum, Davos. His leadership extends to roles such as Chairman of the Tennessee Leaders Action Platform, Chairman of the Tennessee University Presidents Council, and Chairman of Healthier757.

A champion of the arts and education, Dr. Massey founded and led the Leonard Bernstein Center in collaboration with the Bernstein estate and a distinguished board that included, among others, David Rockefeller, Yo-Yo Ma, and June Noble Larkin. As part of his dedication to cultural and educational advancement he also served as Strategic Advisor for the 50th Anniversary of Lincoln Center.

Dr. Massey earned his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, where he focused on cybernetics, the philosophy of science, and logic. He has two sons and one grandson.
