About Samuele

Baritone Samuele Caiazzo, 22, discovered his passion for music and singing at an early age, also studying piano and guitar. At 14, he was admitted as the top-ranked candidate among sixty applicants to the “Domenico Cirillo” Music High School in Aversa, where he graduated with a score of 95/100.

During his time there, he performed in numerous concerts and competitions, gaining stage experience and showcasing strong musicality at venues such as the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Palace of Carditello, and the Cimarosa Theater in Aversa. He was recognized as one of the top students of his graduating class.

At 19, he was admitted to the Conservatorio “Nicola Sala” in Benevento, where he currently studies under Maestro Gioacchino Zarrelli. In October 2024, he performed in the concert I convitati di Pietra ossia il mito di Don Giovanni nell’opera, parte seconda, curated by his professor and accompanied by Maestro Daria D’Aloia.

The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation proudly offers the fully-funded Italian Opera Scenes Intensive, a scholarship-based program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of opera talent. This immersive course provides singers with the opportunity to deepen their artistry through the study of Italian operatic repertoire and Bel Canto technique.
