About Louis
Tenor Louis Lee, originally from South Korea, is a 2025 Apprentice Artist at Central City Opera, covering Il Conte d’Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia). He made his oratorio debut with Cantori di Carmel in Monterey, performing Bach, Handel, and Charpentier.
Previously, he was a Studio Artist at Central City Opera, performing Postiglione (La Fanciulla del West) and a tenor soloist with Opera on Tap New York.
A semi-finalist in the Opera Crown International Competition, Louis holds a Master of Music from Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Korea National University of Arts.

Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive

The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation proudly offers the fully-funded Italian Opera Scenes Intensive, a scholarship-based program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of opera talent. This immersive course provides singers with the opportunity to deepen their artistry through the study of Italian operatic repertoire and Bel Canto technique.
