About Alan
Baritone Alan Rendzak is a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), studying with Thomas Baresel. This summer, he sings the title role in Gianni Schicchi with Opera Lucca, and recent roles include Conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Morales (Carmen), and the Vicar (Albert Herring).
He was selected for Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy and was a finalist in CCM’s Corbett Competition. Alan earned his bachelor’s degree from Oberlin Conservatory, where he received the Margot Bos Stambler Award and the Pi Kappa Lambda Prize. Outside of music, he enjoys running, photography, and visiting new coffee shops.
