About Brendon
Brendon Rapushaj is an aspiring young baritone with goals to establish a career performing in the United States and internationally. Mr.Rapushaj has performed with various choirs, orchestras, musical groups and esteemed artists in various venues and concert halls throughout New York City and beyond. Notably, Brendon has performed the role of Figaro from Le nozze di Figaro last summer in Lucca, Italy. Brendon also performed the lead role of Belcore in Manhattan School of Music’s production of “L’elisir d’amore”.
Opera critic David Shengold said ” The baritone Brendon Rapushaj- a student of Dimitri Pittas-showed promising timbres and projection.” Most recently, Brendon just performed the role of Daincair in scenes from “Carmen” at The Manhattan School of Music. This summer, he will continue his journey at the Nashville Belcanto foundation and at the Chautauqua Conservatory where he will cover Papageno from The Magic Flute. Mr.Rapushaj is outspoken about his passion for new music and collaboration with contemporary composers. He has worked with artists like Caroline Shaw and has premiered several new works at the Manhattan School of Music. His vocal and acting versatility is vast and dynamic, always showcasing the depth of music while delivering an enriching and moving experience the audience will remember.

The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation proudly offers the fully-funded Italian Opera Scenes Intensive, a scholarship-based program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of opera talent. This immersive course provides singers with the opportunity to deepen their artistry through the study of Italian operatic repertoire and Bel Canto technique.
