About Alysha

Alysha Nesbitt is a Nashville-based soprano who has performed with organizations including Nashville Opera, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Nashville Philharmonic Symphony, and Missouri Symphony. Recent highlights include performing as Marian Anderson in When Marian Sang with Nashville Opera and appearing as a featured soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with the Nashville Philharmonic Symphony.

Alysha is a graduate of Tennessee State University and an alumna of the Mary Ragland Emerging Artist Program with Nashville Opera. Her honors include First Place in the HBCU National Soloist Competition and recognition as a District Qualifier in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.
