About Abigail
Soprano Abigail Orr, originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, recently earned her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Belmont University, studying under Dr. Mark Whatley. At Belmont, she was active in Belmont Opera Theater, performing Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Juliette in Roméo et Juliette (scenes).
She also participated in masterclasses with Deborah Birnbaum and Kathryn Lewek. Abigail is excited to further explore her passion for opera with the Nashville Bel Canto Foundation.

The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation proudly offers the fully-funded Italian Opera Scenes Intensive, a scholarship-based program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of opera talent. This immersive course provides singers with the opportunity to deepen their artistry through the study of Italian operatic repertoire and Bel Canto technique.
